Officials described a layered deployment involving police and paramilitary forces, backed by constant electronic surveillance. The arrangements include a wide CCTV network integrated with facial recognition capabilities, as well as specialised anti-drone units and sniper teams positioned at strategic locations to monitor the airspace and surrounding areas.
Operational changes: renamed enclosures, signage and guided movement
To improve navigation and crowd management, the enclosures at Kartavya Path have reportedly been renamed after Indian rivers, and visitors have been advised to follow route and parking guidance printed on their passes and shared through official channels. Help desks, signboards and channelised walking paths are part of the on-ground plan to reduce confusion and bottlenecks during entry and exit.
